This Privacy Policy explains how EMIWise ("the application," "we," "our") handles information when you use it. EMIWise is a loan EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) calculator designed to help you estimate monthly payments, total interest, and total repayment amounts based on figures you enter, such as loan amount, interest rate, and tenure.

We built EMIWise with a simple principle: a calculator does not need to know who you are to do arithmetic. This policy describes exactly what that means in practice.

EMIWise does not collect, request, or store any personal information. The application does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any identifying detail.

The only data involved in using EMIWise are the numeric values you type into the calculator screen — loan amount, interest rate, and tenure. These values exist solely within the application's interface for the purpose of producing a calculation result.

The figures you enter are used for one purpose only: to calculate your monthly installment, total interest payable, and total amount payable, and to display those results back to you on the same screen.

These calculations are performed directly on your device's processor using a standard reducing-balance formula. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere, analyzed, profiled, or used for any purpose beyond showing you the result of your calculation.

EMIWise does not maintain a server, database, or cloud backend of any kind. There is nowhere for your information to be stored outside your own device, because the application never establishes a connection to send it anywhere.

When you close the application or clear the input fields, the values you entered are discarded from memory. EMIWise does not retain a history of your past calculations between sessions.

EMIWise does not request any device permissions. It does not ask to access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, storage, location, or any other sensitive system resource. The application is fully self-contained within its own interface.

EMIWise does not integrate any third-party analytics, marketing, or tracking software development kits (SDKs). No data is shared with, sold to, or exchanged with any outside company, service, or platform, because the application does not communicate with any external server in the first place.

EMIWise is a general-purpose financial utility intended for a broad audience and is not specifically directed at children. Because the application does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children either.

Since EMIWise does not collect, store, or transmit personal information, there is no personal data held by us for you to access, correct, export, or request deletion of. You remain in complete control of the figures you choose to enter into the calculator at all times, and you may clear them instantly using the Clear button within the application.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the application's functionality or for legal and regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
